THE LOCATION

Stanwell Park

Stanwell Park is nestled between the Illawarra escarpment and the sea.  It is a 50min drive from Sydney;  30 minutes to Wollongong or a leisurely 15 minutes along the coast to Thirroul.  A stay at Kims Place provides the perfect opportunity to explore the Royal National Park and the Illawarra escarpment.  Bring your bike and ride along the Sea Cliff Bridge and have breakfast at the newly renovated Imperial Hotel at Clifton.  If you want a quieter pace, sit back on the balcony’s day bed  and enjoy exceptional beach views and watch the hang gliders at Bald Hill.

What a beautiful stay! Absolutely the perfect spot. Kim’s place was clean, and tidy with thoughtful decorative touches. The location doesn’t get better- from the sofa we watched the sunrise and whales breach. Just an awesome spot.

A beautiful Airbnb with fantastic views & location!

Kim was a great host with great communication & the instructions on how to access the property were easy to follow. Am already considering visiting again soon!

Local cafes not far from the place & local attractions (beach, walking trails etc) close by, only wished the weather was better so we could enjoy the attractions better as it was raining for our stay.

Terrific spot. Incredible view. Very clean. Comfy bed and lovely sheets. Walking distance to a couple of cafes, and a short drive to local pubs/clubs. I would recommend bringing supplies and having a bbq/platter on the balcony while overlooking the beach. Has everything you need. Very relaxing, lots of privacy. I shall return
